Small Business Programs

While many area agencies offer small business assistance, the Chamber found that small businesses were not getting the opportunity to interact with one another. Chamber programs including the Small Business Showcase, and Small Business XChange, help small businesses succeed, grow, and continue to be vital employers and contributors to our local economy.

The Chamber’s Small Business Programs include:

• Business XChange Networks
These monthly lunch sessions utilize a rotating, one-on-one “speed networking” format affording members the opportunity to exchange business cards, brochures and leads with other member businesses. Powered by 5-Minute Networking®, attendees load their business profile on the software website including preferences for who they would like to meet, so repeat attendees meet new people each time.

• Business Success Forum
This is a ½ day training seminar offering participants the choice of 3 training topics from various business training tracks. Examples include Business Essentials Track, Business Advantage Track, or Professional Development Track. Participants can mix topics from multiple tracks based on their needs and interests.

• Business Showcase
This is an affordable marketing opportunity for small businesses to showcase their products and services utilizing display tables at an after hours networking event.

• 5-Minute Networking® After Hours
Held in conjunction with the Business Showcase, this networking event utilizes a rotating, one-on-one “speed networking” format affording members the opportunity to exchange business cards, brochures and leads with other member businesses. Powered by 5-Minute Networking®, attendees load their business profile on the software website including preferences for who they would like to meet, so repeat attendees meet new people each time.
