Blueprint2010: A Regional Strategy for Unified Growth points to a positive economic future for the Illinois Quad Cities. A future that unites our communities fosters business expansion and entrepreneurship, engages the next generation of leaders, and redefines our regional economy.

The Illinois Quad City Chamber’s Blueprint2010 is a five year plan and brings an additional investment of $500,000 annually into the community for resources and solutions to two challenging issues facing our region:

1. Attraction of jobs and diverse, young talent to the Illinois Quad City region; and

2. Retention of business, workforce, and a high-quality of life in the greater Illinois Quad City region.

Through our efforts we will yield results for the region by taking action against the attraction and retention challenges facing the region and focusing our objectives in Human Capital Attraction and Retention and Business Retention and Expansion. History shows us that a region's health in these two areas is key to economic prosperity and both are interconnected.

It is the commitment of the Illinois Quad City Chamber of Commerce, with support from our regional community, to lead this effort.
