In the Quad Cities, we are fortunate to be served by hundreds
of talented physicians and two main health systems, Genesis Health
System and Trinity
Regional Health System. Between these two health
systems, there are six main hospitals, thousands of medical
staff, and numerous clinics and healthcare operations.
For nearly 140 years, Genesis Health System has
served as the Quad Cities only locally owned and operated
regional health care system. Genesis and its
affiliates offer a comprehensive array of health care
services. Patients receive care at Genesis
Medical Centers four hospital campuses located in Davenport
and DeWitt, Iowa, and Silvis, Illinois; home health, home
medical equipment, and hospice services through Genesis at
Home and the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House; occupational
health, employee assistance and wellness services through
Genesis at Work; senior living options ranging from
long-term care to assisted living; and primary care services
from more than 100 primary care practitioners and
psychological counselors in Genesis Health Group.
Genesis also operates GenVentures, Inc.; and a family
medicine residency program. Its partners include
Genesis Medical Park, Crow Valley in Bettendorf and Spring
Park Surgery Center in Davenport.
Trinity Regional Health System is the umbrella
over three Quad-City hospitals - Trinity Medical Center-West
Campus, Rock Island; 7th Street Campus, Moline; and Trinity
at Terrace Park, in Bettendorf. Trinity also supports
numerous primary care clinics and health-care operations,
including Trinity Visiting Nurse and Homecare Association,
Trinity Health Enterprises, Inc. (Trinity Home Care
Products, Trinity Retail Pharmacy, Trinity Ambulance
Services, Inc., including Trinity Express), Trinity College
of Nursing and Health Services, Trinity Work Fitness,
Trinity Health Foundation, Robert Young Center for Community
Mental Health, Trinity Enrichment Center and
Riverside. Trinity is a senior affiliate of Iowa
Health System (IHS). Trinity boasts a
progressive heart surgery model led by 11 Cardiac Surgery
Associates (CSA). This group of double board-certified
heart surgeons annually perform 3,500 open heart procedures
and 4,000 vascular and thoracic cases.
